VERY USEFUL!

Ok product
I was hoping to be able to cut fries a little bigger with this blade but I undertand food processors have their limits. It is a good product. Sweet potatoes get stuck in the blade easily so you must clear blade a lot.

Definitely works
I bought this for my hubby as a Christmas gift because he is the french fry maker in our house…..for some reason I thought the fries would be thick cut fries, but they are more like McDonald fries (long and thin). So if you are looking for Micky D fries, this is your blade. If you want them a little thicker, then I don’t think this is what you are looking for.

How did we ever get along without food processors? This three-disk set enables you to expand the use of your machine with several terrific time-savers. The fine grater is used with especially hard foods such as nutmeats, Parmesan cheese, ginger, and horseradish, and the resulting uniform size of those tough-to-grate fibers are wonderful for adding to all sorts of recipes. The julienne disk gives you uniform 3-by-3-millimeter strips of vegetables or medium-hard cheeses, which is a great way of adding decorative touches to salads and stir-fries. Your guests will think you spent hours in preparation. For dealing with large quantities of tomatoes, squash, or firm fruits, the 6-millimeter-thick slicing disk is the way to go. Discs are very good, excellent quality. However, you do need to know how to use them, as the documentation with them is poor.

It’s designed to be used as stand-alone storage or side by side with Cuisinart’s supplemental disk holder. The effective tamper-resistant locking device must be pulled out and twisted 90 degrees to access the cutting tools, and it automatically relocks when the lid is closed. Blades cannot be accessed via the open bottom, and disks can only be removed through the locking top. Cuisinart blade and disc holder
The product is great for storing the extra blades and discs. The only thing I have experienced that gave me difficulty is that it’s hard to open because the lock is very stiff.

Handy holder for the extras
The caddy for all of the Cuisinart discs and blades is great. I no longer open a cabinet and have them falling on my feet. It organizes everything and allows you to retrieve them easily. It is not an essential but it makes handling these items a pleasant experience, not a frustrating one.

good product
I like this product it keeps my blades organized while using a small amountof space. The lock is hard to open. I keep mine in the cabinet so I just don’t lock it.
